There’s a page about Billie’s pregnancy in this week’s Hello! Magazine. When I get a copy I’ll add it to the gallery, otherwise get your copy out now in shops!
As you all requested, here are the pictures of the fan book. I decided to do it like this rather than a book so it’s more of a parcel thing. Hope you all approve, she seemed really chuffed with it!
I would like to take this time to congratulate Billie on a fantastic run of performances as Carly in Reasons to be Pretty at the Almeida Theatre. Having seen the production twice; absolutely everyone deserves a round of applause; Billie Piper, Kieran Bew, Siân Brooke and Tom Burke all gave stella performances. The staging, venue (Almeida Theatre), lighting, sound, directing, everything was absolutely fantastic. Everyone involved did an amazing job, congratulations and let’s hope something similar is brought up in the future!
Status about purchasing tickets from Almeida’s facebook;
Reasons To Be Pretty closes this Saturday – if you haven’t seen it already and you haven’t booked a ticket, remember you can book Day Seats in person from 11am!
So if you live in the London area and want to see Billie, might be worth a try!
Further congratulations to Billie and Laurence who are now expecting a baby boy!

Reasons To Be Pretty is the final part of Neil LaBute’s trilogy of plays that explore our perception of beauty and image interplaying the relationships between men and women. It’s been said that it’s the more humane play out of the trilogy. We have a Talkback during each run of a production at the Almeida where the audience can discuss the production with the cast. Here we have some highlights from the Reasons To Be Pretty Talkback.
What is it that Carly’s attracted to in Kent?
Billie Piper (Carly): I think its one of those things that on paper makes perfect sense, he’s like a prize boyfriend. Where they’re from, things like that really matter. They’re two good looking people and you know I think that he is quite different with Carly to how he is amongst his friends, I’m not sure she really knows who he actually is. I think its quite fake, their relationship.
Was it difficult learning the accent?
Billie Piper: TheMidwest, that’s all we really knew…

I’ve been thinking and talking to some fans and I decided that it would be a really nice idea to make a book with loads of messages for Billie. I’m meeting her on the 14th of January so I can give it to her then, I’m sure she would love it. Obviously I’ll need quite a few messages so if I don’t get enough it’ll look a bit rubbish but I’ll still give it to her. If you want to submit anything then either leave a comment below or email contact@billiepiperfan.com
You can submit messages, pictures, photos, anything you want. If you want to add something physical, hand made things or something then email me and I’ll sort out an address for you to post it to. Be aware that these need to be in as soon as possible! If you don’t want your name to be included then please say, or if you want a different name then please put one, otherwise I’ll use the name that comes with the comment/email. And let me know if you have any particular image you want to go with it. I’m paying for it to be professionally printed and created so I need lots of messages to put in!
I was also thinking about the front cover being loads of pictures of her with you guys, so if you email me pictures of you together then I can put it on the cover!
Thanks guys!

Firstly I hope all of you had a fantastic Christmas and are looking forward to an amazing New Year.
Secondly I would like to announce that the website has been transferred over to me now. I would like to thank Robin massively for all the incredible hard work she has put in to this site over the years, she has done an amazing job and kept us all up to date! However unfortunately she doesn’t have time to run it as she did before so I have taken over. I am a massive Billie Piper fan and have been updating on here for a long time so I’m hoping I can try and fill her shoes. As well as Robin doing a fantastic job over the years so have all of the other editors. I have done a clear out as many people weren’t using their account anymore so please do not be offended if you have been removed, this has happened to all to reduce any hacking/spamming etc. If you would like to continue running and helping with the site please email me and I’ll sign you back up again. I will be changing a few things in the coming days and weeks such as the theme and some of the pages.
If you have any questions, queries, suggestions or comments please write them below.
I wish you all a very Happy New Year!

All the remaining performances of Reasons to be Pretty are now completely sold out!
I have found lots of exciting information about the release of A Passionate Woman DVD. It is defiantly happening on the 27th of February 2012. Click here to read BFS’ information page about it, the cover looks really good! And click here to visit the website page.
A fantastic review from The Jewish Chronicle which truly hails Billie Piper…
But the most eye-catching performance in Michael Attenborough’s gripping production is from former Dr Who sidekick Billie Piper who is terrific as Kent’s pregnant girlfriend. No actor can cry more convincingly than Piper, but here she adds a very convincing, American, blue-collar toughness.

Kaya Scodelario has expressed how improvising with Billie Piper was about the situation the characters are in and not about sex.

Click here to vote in the What’s on Stage Awards, you don’t have to vote in every category but make sure you vote Billie Piper or Reasons to be Pretty where you can. I put Billie Piper in Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress.
Time Out has positioned Reasons to be Pretty number 8 out of the 10 best theatre productions to see this Autumn! It is also has the classification ‘Recommended’ as a pose to some of the other competitors which aren’t. (I don’t know why Hamlet is at number one yet has only received two stars). Reasons to be Pretty is also the ‘Critic’s Choice’ for theatre productions off-west end and is Time Out’s show of the week!
Great news all round!
I was reading the programme from Reasons to be Pretty and under what each of the cast had done, it said:
Billie Piper…
Television: True Love
I’d never heard of it, and after googling it nothing came up apart from a few reports of BBC and ITV clashing with the same name which we reported a while ago. So it may be true that the BBC has changed it from Love Life to True Love.
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animas) have praised Billie for admitting about her past and expressing how much she wanted to change it. They now want her as a spokesperson for their campaign…
A spokesperson for the organisation told WENN: “PETA is very happy to hear that Ms Piper regrets the casual cruelty that she perpetrated against animals when she was a child – that’s the difference between a person with the real potential to be kind and someone who denies wrongdoing, takes pleasure in it and escalates the damaging behaviour.
“We will be asking Ms Piper to be a spokesperson for our campaign to sensitise children, parents and teachers to the need to develop compassion in childhood through humane education training in schools and at home.”

Tom Sutcliffe and his guests writers Miranda Sawyer and Francis Spufford and musician Pat Kane review the week’s cultural highlights, including Reasons to Be Pretty by Neil Labute.
