As there has been little news on the Billie front I thought I’d update with some less notable news;

Digital Spy has classed True Love as number 18 out of the 20 hottest shows to watch this 2012!
The Guardian has done a feature called  ’When Actors Really Do Break A Leg’ which has a small snipped about Billie in Reasons to be Pretty.

A preview screening of the first episode of ‘True Love’ was screened today, despite all the previous rumours of a April/May transmission, it’s going to be aired in June time!

Hi Everyone. So I was thinking about the book last night and decided that just a book full of messages is a bit ‘been there, done that’ especially as we gave her the little messages in the envelope at Reasons to be Pretty. So I thought it would make it a bit more interesting if we did ’30 Reasons Why We Love Billie’. So you can still submit any messages to Billie wishing her happy birthday and any that are already submitted will still count but if you also want to submit a reason why you love Billie then I’ll put that in as well. Try to think outside of the box as we don’t want any duplicates. For example: mine would be her smile, for someone else it could be her singing voice, her acting style, her array of accents, a particular role you enjoyed her playing, a theatre performance, anything you want. You can also still submit pictures, drawings etc.

EMI Gold are going to release a special 5 track, digital mini album of Billie’s songs in May! This is the perfect opportunity to get try and get Billie back in to the charts! More news will be updated nearer the time, but I was thinking we could start a campaign to get Billie’s mini-album in to the charts! If we all download it on the same day there’s a chance we could get her songs back in the charts. Spread the news about the campaign!

As you may know I have been thinking about this for a while and since a lot of you thought it was a good idea I’ve decided to start the birthday book for Billie now so that we can have as many in as possible. Billie will be appearing on ‘The Absolutely Fabulous Big Sport Relief TV Show’ on Friday 23rd March from 7PM on BBC One. She will be reporting on how the money raised could help change lives in the UK and around the world. This is the excert from the programme description.

There’ll also be powerful reminders of the serious side of Sport Relief, with moving appeal films from the likes of Miranda Hart, Billie Piper and Lorraine Kelly, who will report back on how the money raised could help change lives both here in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.

This is more to put the rumours straight as I know that a few people have been saying that Tom and Jenny had already been filmed. I can confirm from the production company making the show, that ‘At the moment the show is still in pre production and will be filmed later on this year.’ So Tom and Jenny has not been filmed yet and will most likely be out late 2012.

You may remember that a while ago we reported that Billie Piper, David Tennant, MacKenzie Crook and Matthew Rhys were all going to be doing a film called ‘Love on the Murder Mile’ together directed by Laurence Fox and written by Johnny Glynn. The rumours fizzled out for a while but I can now confirm that this project is still going ahead, slowly but surely!

I emailed the production company that was rumoured to be making Love on the Murder Mile and received a reply stating that whilst they couldn’t give much information away they could confirm that ‘It is currently in the early stages of development’.

The only down side to this news is that the likeliness is that it will not be released until at the earliest 2013, but even so the longer they take the better quality it’ll be!

This is just a little update to let you know what’s going on over here.
Firstly, you can follow us on twitter, click here to do so if you’re not already. We have also got a facebook page now, click here to like us. I have installed an application on the facebook page called Fanzy. Fanzy allows you guys, the users, to earn points by talking about Billie Piper and this website etc. The more you talk about it the higher up in the rank you become. Currently there is no prize however I am working on getting together a goody bag of Billie Piper things for the number one fan, so head over now to get a head start!

Next up is the layout, I am aware that a number of people have got bored of it and it will be changed soon. I am currently designing a new one now and when I’ve finished it will be converted and uploaded here to be seen by all. This may take some time, so apologies about that.

My next topic it about a possible birthday book for Billie’s 30th this year. I want to know how many of you would be interested in the idea, and your thoughts about it. Feel free to leave any suggestions or comments below.

In addition to this, I want to know if any of you have any suggestions or comments for the site, then please let me know. The site is for you so I want what you want on it. I also want to add that we recently hit over half a million hits! Thanks so much for that! The scans from Hello, New and Reasons to be Pretty will be added very soon, sorry about the delay with this.

Lastly, a quick reminder that A Passionate Woman is out on DVD now. It really is a great production worth buying, available in shops as well as online.
