Frost magazine have interviewed Billie about A Passionate Woman. There is also one with Kay Mellor, the writer of A Passionate Woman, about casting Billie and much more.

I would like to apologise for not uploading the scans of the Hello magazine article. The reason for this is that there are many other articles that I will be uploading with it; several other magazines and I’m also going to upload scans of the ‘Reasons to be Pretty’ programme so that anyone that didn’t get to the theatre can have a look at it. Doctor Who: Guardian ebook recalls the BBC’s gamble on a now roaring success

Just before Christmas The Guardian launched an iPhone and Kindle book entitled ‘Who’s Who? The resurrection of the Doctor’. I haven’t yet read it but I’ve bought it, and it features the history and revival of Doctor Who and of course entails lots about Billie Piper and her character Rose. Here is an excerpt from The Guardian launch review. You can read a few pages and preview it on the Kindle purchase page, click on the below link to view it.

But articles and features about the people behind the show have proved just as compelling. The book contains lengthy interviews with Eccleston, Tennant and Matt Smith, as well as Russell T Davies and Steven Moffat. Billie wanted for David Walliams’ BBC drama?

David Walliams is a busy man. Not only is he flying around the UK to judge talent as the new Britain’s Got Talent judge, he is also working on several projects and doesn’t get a lot of free time…..

He is also working on a new BBC1 detective drama about a male/female detective duo which he has written and will play the lead. Reports suggest that he hopes to cast Karen Gillan or Billie Piper as the female lead.

Just a rumour. Probably untrue….but you never know.

As you all requested, here are the pictures of the fan book. I decided to do it like this rather than a book so it’s more of a parcel thing. Hope you all approve, she seemed really chuffed with it!

I would like to take this time to congratulate Billie on a fantastic run of performances as Carly in Reasons to be Pretty at the Almeida Theatre. Having seen the production twice; absolutely everyone deserves a round of applause; Billie Piper, Kieran Bew, Siân Brooke and Tom Burke all gave stella performances. The staging, venue (Almeida Theatre), lighting, sound, directing, everything was absolutely fantastic. Everyone involved did an amazing job, congratulations and let’s hope something similar is brought up in the future!

Reasons To Be Pretty is the final part of Neil LaBute’s trilogy of plays that explore our perception of beauty and image interplaying the relationships between men and women. It’s been said that it’s the more humane play out of the trilogy. We have a Talkback during each run of a production at the Almeida where the audience can discuss the production with the cast. Here we have some highlights from the Reasons To Be Pretty Talkback.

What is it that Carly’s attracted to in Kent?

Billie Piper (Carly): I think its one of those things that on paper makes perfect sense, he’s like a prize boyfriend. Where they’re from, things like that really matter. They’re two good looking people and you know I think that he is quite different with Carly to how he is amongst his friends, I’m not sure she really knows who he actually is. I think its quite fake, their relationship.

Was it difficult learning the accent?

Billie Piper: TheMidwest, that’s all we really knew…

Fan Message Book For Billie!

I’ve been thinking and talking to some fans and I decided that it would be a really nice idea to make a book with loads of messages for Billie. I’m meeting her on the 14th of January so I can give it to her then, I’m sure she would love it. Obviously I’ll need quite a few messages so if I don’t get enough it’ll look a bit rubbish but I’ll still give it to her. If you want to submit anything then either leave a comment below or email contact@billiepiperfan.com
You can submit messages, pictures, photos, anything you want. If you want to add something physical, hand made things or something then email me and I’ll sort out an address for you to post it to. Be aware that these need to be in as soon as possible! If you don’t want your name to be included then please say, or if you want a different name then please put one, otherwise I’ll use the name that comes with the comment/email. And let me know if you have any particular image you want to go with it. I’m paying for it to be professionally printed and created so I need lots of messages to put in!

I was also thinking about the front cover being loads of pictures of her with you guys, so if you email me pictures of you together then I can put it on the cover!
